Scorpio New Moon - November

It is another wonderful New Moon eve, and it is a Scorpio New Moon is strong. And it is leading us into the eclipse season. Okay, the season of eclipses really turns the volume up on every kind of astrological stellium. And every kind of astrological influence. And I think the running to the back end of the year is going to be unusually strong in all dimensions, in a kind of sense of personal growth, in the kind of soul family circle, the inner circle, the nuclear family circle, the social circle that the society and the global theatre, I think, is ripening up for a great awakening.

There's a lot of talk about the great reset this kind of new economic structure, a superstructure, which is being planned for the people, and resisted by many people, for all sorts of reasons, their own personal reasons. But I think that it's driving something like the Great Awakening in many, many people and I think we're just at that time, I think we're at the time, where we're on the precipice of the dawn of a new age, it is the dawn of the Age of Aquarius, actually. And the spirit of the age of Aquarius, is personal mastery. And to be able to cultivate personal mastery, then to contribute that personal mastery to the community. I think that's the age of illumination into which we're coming now and so, it's a great merit to you, and a beautiful thing that we continue to gather in Soul Family circles such as this evening.

To come together to do this work individually on ourselves and in this kind of fantastical theatre together so that we can achieve much more together energetically than we can ever achieve by ourselves, actually, and that's why it's such a beautiful thing to come together in the Sangha.

Lord Buddha famously said, that there are three main pillars to a successful spiritual life. Could you think about like a safe, successful life but a successful Spiritual Life stands on these three pillars, the Buddha mind, the Buddha mind, the quiet mind, okay the mind which is the Deep Field of Awareness in which the intellectual mind is alive, but the Buddha mind is that deep field of consciousness, that quiet, oceanic, spacious sense of self awareness that I want to call it the sovereign seed of self awareness, the Buddha mind.

And from that, clear water, clear, but deep water, we can cultivate our Dharma, the Dharma is the purpose of life, the purpose of our individual life, what we have ciphered is our gift, and our purpose in life and to cultivate that gift and contribute that gift to the Sangha. The Sangha is the soul family, what I'm calling it the soul family, but in spiritual traditions, it's called the Sangha. And it is the community. Let's think about it like that. The common unity between people.

And Buddha said that the Sangha is half the spiritual life. You know, coming together in a flock of birds like this, who are kind of flying in the same direction, who can encourage one another, support one another, reflect one another, and really, where you feel like you're not alone in this process of growth, and change and rapid evolution. And it is a beautiful thing. Really a thing of rare beauty and preciousness to be able to gather like this to grow together. And to do this kind of work, to strengthen our nervous systems to switch on and tune up glandular systems, and to get more and more comfortable in the sea of the mind breath body matrix, and to remain present, to do the work to sharpen these tools to cultivate the quality of consciousness, and the quality of the hormone or blood chemistry that helps us to stay present and to stay calm under pressure, and to stay clear about our motives and intentions behind everything that we think, say and do.

It sounds like a lot, but it is the most important things that we could possibly do, okay it is really, really. I think it was the great master Milarepa who said, don't delay, the practice of meditation, the affairs of the world will just continue to go on, don't delay the practice of meditation any longer.
